Initial reports say she died from being locked outside almost naked in freezing temperatures – seen live by gamblers on YouTube and other platforms, but later forensic experts concluded that head injuries were the cause of death.

When Reshetnikov, 30, let her back in, it was clear to viewers that she looked dead, and someone called emergency services.

Her corpse had “craniocerebral trauma” and “multiple facial bruises and soft tissue bleeding.”

ReeFlay “ testified that he hit the deceased on the head several times on the day in question, ” a law enforcement source said.

He admitted to ‘hitting her’.

Initial reports that she was pregnant were later denied.

Psychological and psychiatric examination of the streamer showed that he was “healthy” and fit for trial.

He was convicted of “deliberately inflicting serious bodily harm, dangerous to human life, committed with the use of an object used as a weapon, resulting in death of the victim by negligence.”

His mother, brothers and sister attended his trial.

They were described by NTV as ‘in a very subdued mood and refused to talk to the media’.

His mom, a sales manager, had previously said her son “wouldn’t hurt a kitten” and was “very nice.”

Leading Russian senator Aleksey Pushkov has called for specific legal penalties for ‘waste streams’ that emphasize cruelty.

He wants six years in prison and criminal fines in the worst cases.

“This is becoming more and more widespread, so it is necessary to act legislatively on this form of activity,” he said.

“When we talk about direct participation in or complicity in murder, the prison sentence could of course be longer.”
