The Rock got the pin and victory in his first real match in 11 years as The Bloodline held their own at the end of the first night of WrestleMania 40.

Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes put everything on the line. But now, Rollins has to defend his world title with a knee injury and Rhodes is fighting for a title under Bloodline rules, which means the odds are against him.

At fifty years old and without having fought for more than a decade, expectations for The Rock were not very high. However, after a rather vulgar first half of the confrontation, the last bars reminded us of the magic it still retains.

These four men surely knew they were participating in a legendary showdown as they dove into the atmosphere at every opportunity.

Philadelphia ate up the star power they were allowed to enjoy. The Rock, who sported an unprecedented physique at 51 years old, did not shy away from the action. After Roman Reigns built anticipation by starting the match, the crowd was at a fever pitch.

When the action ended and the four gathered around Lincoln Financial Field, Rock told the referee: “If you count, you’re fired.” I’m your boss. Do you know The Rock? I don’t mind.’

Rock and Rollins fought the crowd as Reigns and Rhodes walked up the ramp. As the four men crossed paths in the ring, the tide of the match changed when Reigns dropped Rollins onto the knee he injured in the lead-up to WrestleMania.

Naturally, Rock and Reigns worked on Rollins’ knee in meticulous detail. When Rhodes finally got the hot tag, he took the fight to Reigns while Rock recovered on the outside after a Curb Stomp hit in desperation.

Reigns hit a Curb Stomp and Cross-Rhodes while The Rock was down and looked defeated for all intents and purposes, but The Great One resurrected himself to knock the referee out of the ring before he could count The Bloodline out for the pin.

Then the game accelerated. Long story short: Roman Reigns accidentally impaled The Rock, Rhodes and Rollins hit the Pedigrees on Rock stereo and Reigns before Rhodes Rock slammed The Rock into a table and Reigns speared Rollins through the barricade leaving carnage. all over.

As Rhodes looked to get Reigns back into the ring, Rock whipped him with the belt once more and was able to take control. To Rock Bottom and People’s Elbow later, and Rock and Roman emerged victorious.
