A mother of two shared what she put in her kids’ lunch box on ‘lazy’ days or when ‘nothing goes according to plan’.

In a post on the Facebook group Lunchbox Ideas Australia, Meredith revealed that the ‘lazy’ lunchbox is packed with an assortment of fresh fruit, a small pack of popcorn and a can of Heinz baked beans.

She also sought help from other parents online and asked what food they are packing.

Meredith posted on the Facebook group Lunchbox Ideas Australia, revealing that the ‘lazy’ lunchbox is packed with an assortment of fresh fruit, a small pack of popcorn and a can of Heinz baked beans.

Some said they order lunches through the school cafeteria, while others pack ham and cheese toasties.

“Lunch order, so grateful my school is using an app so I don’t even have to look for money to give them,” said one mother.

“Ham and cheese sandwich from the bakery, some fruit and yogurt – our shop hasn’t been open for over a year,” said another.

A third said, “A sandwich is my quick lunch, although I usually make slices and quiches for freezing.”
