Controversial influencer Georgie Stevenson deleted several posts from her Instagram Stories on Monday after receiving complaints from her followers.
The 30-year-old Gold Coast-based beauty entrepreneur shared several photos of herself visiting a dolphin exhibit at the Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, sparking a stir.
Celebrity watchdog account Influencer.Updates.Au later confirmed that Georgie had deleted the photographs after fans reported the dolphins were being mistreated.
“Georgie Stevenson deleted her stories yesterday after Warrior For Animals informed her about the mistreatment of dolphins at the Coffs Harbour wildlife sanctuary. She is now following the page,” they said.
They shared the public complaint Georgie allegedly received from WFA, which read: ‘I have politely reached out to Georgie to ask her to stop promoting cruel dolphin captivity.
‘These dolphins are kept in small pools and forced to perform and take walks, which is why we protest regularly.
‘You can see that the dolphins are in one dirty pool and the other pool is clean, and that’s where they are forced to perform.’
Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales and is home to a variety of rescued and injured animals that cannot be returned to the wild.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted the Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary for comment.
This is not the first time Georgie has come under fire over the past year.
In September 2023, the influencer sparked backlash after sharing a shocking theory on her health and wellness podcast, Rise and conquer.
In the episode, which was later deleted, Georgie and her producer Atiyya Batty discussed whether or not “getting sick is a choice.”
“She believes that getting sick is a choice… and your body is dealing with the virus and your subconscious is choosing whether to accept the upgrade or not,” Batty told Stevenson.
“Oh my God! I believe this 100 percent!” Georgie exclaimed.
The episode sparked a wave of backlash, with one listener writing: “Great, they can say that to my lupus. Such dangerous rhetoric. OMG.”
