Adult film star Mick Blue has spoken out about his role in the hit Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

The 48-year-old porn star and director landed a role as an extra on the popular show within “three hours” of his audition and was stunned to see how “fast” the “incredible” series unfolded.

Co-created by Ryan Murphy, the first season of Monsters was about prolific cannibal serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, played by Evan Peters.

Mick also revealed what the cast really thinks about the intense controversy that has surrounded the series and sent social media into a frenzy as viewers criticized the creators for making money off the pain of the victims’ loved ones.

For the second season, the anthology turned its attention to another infamous true crime story: Lyle and Erik Menendez, who murdered their parents in 1989.

And, even though the show gave viewers chills, Mick revealed that being on the set of the series, which hit the streaming platform on September 19, was “amazing” and gushed about Cooper Koch and Nicholas Chavez , who played Lyle and Erik.

He admitted to DailyMail.com that he landed the role while on a flight to Las Vegas.

‘I saw the audition call for a prominent background actor, immediately submitted my audition and three hours later I was hired for the role! It was a quick change. ‘I couldn’t believe it when I found out it was going to be part of the Ryan Murphy anthology series,’ he explained.

Mick can be seen standing out from the crowd in the third episode of the series when Lyle has his toupee removed while he is in the prison shower.

‘I was lucky to be in a prominent part where the public can see me clearly. Often in supporting roles you are not as visible, but this time, everything came together very quickly. You have to start with those small moments to get to the big ones,” he told DailyMail.com.

When the porn star first walked onto the set, she was surprised by how welcoming everyone was, despite the scary nature of the show.

He told DailyMail.com: “Although the story is very chilling, on set the atmosphere was wonderful and great.”

The porn star noted that she had a lot of fun creating the show and wasn’t intimidated by the gruesome story.

And he added: ‘The experience was incredible. Everyone on set, from crew to cast, was super friendly and determined to create the best show possible.

And despite the show giving viewers chills, Mick revealed that being on the set of the series was a “really great experience” (you can see her makeup on set).

Mick admitted that the team told him he needed to “get tattooed” and spent the next two hours getting his body painted (seen in front of Lyle).

‘Like a team that works perfectly, and if you watch the show, you can see it. The cinematography and performances, especially from Cooper and Nicholas, are simply phenomenal.”

To fit the role, he had to shed his good-guy persona and show off his glamor for a whopping two hours.

Mick explained that the team told him he needed to “get tattooed” before undergoing extensive body painting.

She added: ‘It was the first time I spent two and a half hours doing makeup to get sticker tattoos.

“They said, ‘You look great, let’s get you tattooed!’ It was a really great experience.”

Although he didn’t spend much time with Nicholas and Cooper, he revealed some key aspects of their personalities to DailyMail.com.

“My direct work with them was too short to form a friendship, but I had plenty of time to chat to Cooper and I have to say he’s a really great guy and super nice. Nicholas was more of the quiet, reserved type,” Mick told DailyMail .com.

Despite reaching Netflix’s top 10, the hit series has sparked furious controversy over its sexual nature and over-the-top moments.

Mick spoke out against the backlash his show has received, letting it be known that the cast hadn’t let it get to them.

He told DailyMail.com: “I think when you create a TV show like this, there will always be people who talk badly about it.” In this world, you can’t make it right for everyone. Personally, I’m a big fan of Ryan Murphy’s work and also what he created with this show.

‘Sexuality in this program is a matter of the viewers’ taste. I think what really matters is the point of view of the people involved and the research they have done. Showing it on a platform like this fits the moment we live in.

‘What the true story is in the end, only Erik and Lyle Menéndez know. I think something really bad must have happened for them to decide to kill their parents.’

Lyle was 21 and Erik was 18 when their parents were massacred, setting off a rollercoaster of legal drama that resulted in their 1996 murder conviction.

Following his time on the series, Mick will join ABC’s iconic daytime drama, General Hospital.

Nicholas and Cooper play Lyle and Erik, the rich brothers at the center of the story, respectively.

The brothers’ parents, record executive José and socialite Kitty, who were filmed in their living room on the night of August 20, 1989, are played by Javier Bardem and Chloe Sevigny.

The Menéndez brothers’ series has sparked an avalanche of reactions from fans, with many calling it “deeply perverted.”

The duo have since agreed to participate in their own Netflix documentary after their family criticized the streaming service for its series dramatizing the brutal murders of their parents.

The Netflix documentary will include phone interviews with Lyle and Erik Menendez in what will be the first time the brothers tell their story together outside of a courtroom.

Following the release of the Netflix series, Hollywood celebrities have spoken out about Lyle and Erik’s story.

Kim Kardashian said in an op-ed published Thursday that she believes convicted murderers Lyle and Erik Menendez should be released from prison following their 1996 conviction for the 1989 shooting deaths of their parents.
