The patriarch of the Wayne Howell Wayans family has passed away at the age of 86 of unknown causes as his famous children always remember him putting “family first.”
Marlon, the son of Howell Wayans, confirmed the news Saturday on Instagram, calling his father a “legend” and saying he is “the perfect man for all of your boys.”
When I was a kid I asked my dad what did you want to be when you grew up? He simply said, “I wanted to be a man,” I said, “Not a lawyer? A doctor? An actor?”
He said: Just a man.
When he told his father that every little boy eventually becomes a man, Howell told him that was “not true” and that “a man takes care of himself and his responsibilities. His family is always first.”

Little kid loves you. And if I ever need you, I know exactly where to find you…in my Bible which now sits by my bed. rest well. Ma kiss for me. Tell her that her children miss her. I have two angels. I feel you really lift me up. He concluded that if there is heaven I know you are sitting in a VIP sippin’ “the best wine Jesus could make”.
