A driver who left his car in town for hours came back to find a bizarre parking ticket – with a $ 0 fine.
The driver parked in a side street off Victoria Road in Rozelle, in Sydney’s Inner West, where parking fines can be expensive.
But after checking his ticket, the driver discovered that they had been fined $ 0 and had to pay nothing.

The strange parking ticket has only been issued as a warning.
The Inner West Council decided to issue the $ 0 fines as a way of putting public safety before enforcement, but it did not say when the grace period would end.
However, the municipality will start issuing fines from June 1, and will still issue parking fines if the offense is a security issue.
On Monday, Sydney City Council announced that it would end free parking in the city after it suspended parking fines in late March.
The council said parking inspectors would return to full force on May 25 to “ensure that everyone has safe, fair and equal access to parking.”
The 1,400 free parking permits issued to rescuers remain valid until June 30.
Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth have also lifted parking restrictions.
