These surveillance footage shows a bar owner who sets fire to his company in Georgia shortly before he drove to his ex-wife's house and shot himself.
Gary Lawrence is seen driving away from the Backwoods Bar and Grill in Forsyth, Georgia, with a fire propelling the roof of the building.
Images taken from a nearby building show how smoke starts to flow from the roof and then becomes a blazing fire when emergency teams arrive on the scene.
Lawrence is supposed to have shot and committed suicide about two hours later at his ex-partner's home in Macon, WMAZ reported.
Researchers at the Sheriff & # 39; s Office in Monroe County believe he first drove to his sister's house where he changed cars.
The Backwoods Bar and Grill owned by Lawrence was completely destroyed by the fire.
The sheriff's office has now released the surveillance footage from the afternoon of October 1 when the fire broke out.
Shortly before 4.30 pm Lawrence seems to be driving his car a short distance around the bar and then enters the building again. Moments later he reappears to drop off a bag of trash before he goes back inside.
The video is then interrupted shortly after 6 p.m. when smoke is already coming out of the building and Lawrence is coming out of the front door to go to his car.

Partially obscured by smoke, the car switches on its lights, turns out of its parking port and drives off.
Another car that entered the parking lot makes a U-turn quickly and leaves again, probably after the driver saw the developing fire.
A third vehicle pulls from another direction and stops in front of the smoking building before reversing.
The scene then cuts a few minutes ahead, by which time a fire truck pulls up but the flames have spread over the roof of the bar.
Within another 10 minutes, the smoke changed to bright orange flames and a second emergency vehicle arrived on site.

Firefighters began spraying water over the fire when the video ended, and emergency services said it took several hours to extinguish the fire.
No firefighters were injured and volunteers helped rescue other nearby companies, the authorities said.
At the time of the fire, the sheriff's office said that there were & # 39; very suspicious circumstances & # 39; around the fire.
It is not yet clear why Lawrence would have set fire to the building before taking his own life.
Customers in the Backwoods Bar mourned the loss of the location and said they & # 39; had lost a friend & # 39; in Gary Lawrence.
One offered prayers for his family and said he & # 39; so & # 39; n good man & # 39; was and & # 39; will be missed & # 39 ;.
