Neighbors of Donald Trump shooter Thomas Crooks’ older sister described her as “very friendly” and “hardworking” as they described how her “skinny” brother helped her move into her apartment.

A neighbor of Katie Crooks, Thomas’ older sister, spoke about how the woman, who juggles two jobs, moved into the apartment building in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, three years ago, with the help of her brother.

Speaking to The New York PostThe anonymous neighbor said: ‘The person who helped her, I couldn’t tell if it was a man or a woman.

‘A couple of days later I asked him if it was one of his brothers and he said it was his brother. The one who shot Trump… He was very skinny.’

He added that Katie was a “true entrepreneur” who worked as a janitor at a local high school as well as a waitress at a restaurant.

She was also described as a “really friendly” and “nice” girl.

“I can’t say a single bad word about her,” the neighbor added.

Like her brother, Katie is a registered Republican, but her father is a registered Libertarian.

She was also reportedly seen getting out of her red Hyundai Kona on Monday night and carrying luggage to the Crooks family home in Bethel Park.

Since Saturday’s assassination attempt, in which Thomas opened fire on former President Trump as he addressed a crowd in Butler, Pennsylvania, Thomas’ family has largely stayed out of the public eye.

Thomas’ father, Matthew, 53, was seen for the first time on Monday since his son was shot dead by a sniper after he attempted to assassinate Trump.

He was photographed in the family’s modest three-bedroom home in Bethel Park as federal investigators visited earlier this week.

Clearly exhausted, his eyes showing the strain and trauma of the past few days, Crooks opened the door to several FBI personnel who entered the modest brick house shortly before ten o’clock.

Barely 48 hours had passed since the Crooks family’s world fell apart with the shocking events of Saturday afternoon.

Speaking to CNN immediately after his son’s identification, Matthew, who works as a licensed behavioral therapist and specializes in rehabilitation, seemed completely lost as he struggled to make sense of what he had just been told.

When contacted by the network Saturday night, he said he was still trying to figure out “what the hell is going on,” but said he would “wait until I talk to the police” before speaking about his son.

He and the rest of the shooter’s immediate family have not spoken publicly since. Crooks’ mother, Mary Elizabeth, 53, is also a behavioral therapist.

Crooks is believed to have used an AR-15 purchased by his father about six months earlier and both men are understood to have been members of the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club in Clairton, Pennsylvania.

FBI agents visited with the Crooks family for a few minutes before proceeding to canvass the neighborhood talking to residents.

According to a biography of Matthew when he registered a coat of arms, he was born in Pittsburgh and his father had owned a barbershop while his mother was an accountant.
