Caryk will seek an order from Norwich against Karlsson, which would require her to "reveal and provide all the evidence" proving her allegations of cyberbullying.

Hoffman's girlfriend has continued to deny having harassed Karlsson, who applied for a protection order against Caryk in June, shortly before the striker was exchanged.

Karlsson claimed that Caryk had an "unhealthy obsession" with her and made statements in which she wished that she and her unborn child were dead.

The wife of the NHL also claimed that Caryk had posted a cruel message in an Intram in which Erik Karlsson revealed that his first child had been born dead.

"The public nature of these allegations against Ms. Caryk has caused great harm to Ms. Caryk's reputation and well-being, even threatening her safety," said a factum that Hoffman's girlfriend filed with the Ontario Superior Court on August 24.

Caryk said the Karlsson have yet to reveal any evidence that points to him as the bully who has hit them on Instagram and any anonymous site in the NHL.

The story of Caryk and Karlsson's relationship was revealed during a deposition on August 8.

But eventually they simply & # 39; became civilians & # 39 ;, though Caryk noticed that Karlsson was never & # 39; externally hostile & # 39; towards her, according to the Citizen of Ottawa.

When Karlsson's lawyer asked why Caryk told people that Karlsson hated her, she replied that the reason "sounds so stupid."

Caryk later noticed that Karlsson had stopped "liking" his messages on social media and had left it "out of the dinners" he organized with the wives and partners of the Senators' players.

"There is a chain of events that simply leads you to believe certain things," Caryk said. "He never said it once, but that's what he made me believe."

The text messages that were shown in court revealed that Caryk had said that the couple "does not get along" and that he had "problems."

While Karlsson claims that Caryk began harassing her in November 2017, Caryk said he only found out about the allegations in March 2018.

That's when his so-called "problems" They took a serious turn.

After the son of Erik and Karlsson was delivered dead on March 19, the tragic news was announced to his teammates.

Caryk said he wanted to send flowers to Karlsson and suggested that the wives and partners of the Senators do something for the family.

But when the news of Caryk's suggestion came, Camille Pageau, the wife of Senator JG Pageau, returned the shot by text message.

"You hate Melinda and I do not understand why you would want to do something for her!" a message read.

"In times like this, a hypocrite is even worse! Stay away from that!"

In the next two days, Caryk received emails from three different partners of NHL players who accused her of cyber-bullying Karlsson.

On March 21, Erik Karlsson also went public with the news of the death of his son, posting a photo on Instagram that showed the traces of Axel.

"At this extremely difficult time, it is difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but we know that one day we will get there," he wrote in the caption.

"We would like to thank everyone for the love and support we have received and also for respecting our privacy and the process we must follow now.

"We feel very fortunate to be Axel's parents."

"Even though he was born dead, we know that one day we will retain him under different circumstances and the joy he gave us will be with us forever."

Among the 10,000 support messages, there was a shocking comment from an anonymous identifier nicknamed & # 39; @ sandydandy45 & # 39 ;.

"I feel bad for the baby, he did not have the opportunity for Melinda to take painkillers every day," his comment said.

Erik Karlsson replied: & # 39; How dare you? You've been doing false accounts and buying pirated accounts for months to harass me and my wife, but this is totally new even for you. You are a disgusting person. "

The account was deactivated soon.

"These messages were often negative, false and hurtful, and Ms. Caryk believes the website is embarrassing," the factum states.

Caryk said she had only been to the site once in 2014, when she "felt it was necessary to respond to a negative comment about her."

After receiving a lot of emails that connected her to the harassment the Karlssons received, Caryk contacted Randy Morin, the owner of Talk-Sports.com.

She asked him to remove the messages in question but, he said, he refused.

Since then, Morin has said he did not know it was Caryk who asked him to remove the messages, but said he does not believe that the IP addresses connected to Hoffman's girlfriend have ever posted on the Karlsson page on his site.

When Caryk did not receive news of Morin in March, he said he contacted a & # 39; IT contact & # 39; and asked him to try to determine who was creating the publications & # 39; in an attempt to erase his name from any error & # 39;.

Kevin Horrocks said he was able to extract IP addresses for & # 39; several of the harmful publications & # 39 ;, and gave Caryk a report confirming that & # 39; none of the IP addresses he discovered matched his IP address & # 39;, says the factum.

Horrocks would not confirm or deny the Citizen of Ottawa if he was paid to present the report to Caryk.

Hoffman brought Horrock's findings to his teammate, trying to get his captain to look at the report only six days after his son was born dead, according to the fact.

The couple will also leave Canada to go to San Jose, where Karlsson will make his home after being traded to the San Jose Sharks.

San Jose is sending the Senators a first-round pick in 2019 or 2020, a second-round pick in 2019, strikers Chris Tierney, Josh Norris and Rudolfs Balcers, defender Dylan DeMelo and two conditional draft picks.

"It's extremely rare that players of this caliber are available," said Doug Wilson, general manager of the Sharks, on Thursday.

"The word elite is often used casually, but Erik's skills and skill set fit that description like few players in today's game."

"With Erik, Brent Burns and Marc-Edouard Vlasic, we believe we have three of the best defenders in the NHL and we are better today than yesterday and we are delighted to welcome San Jose to Erik and his wife, Melinda."
