The father of two missing Detroit teenagers is pleading with the community to help find them nearly a month after they went missing.

Anieca and Aniya Ogden, 14-year-old twin sisters, were last seen at their father’s house on March 8.

Detroit police said the girls left the home on Robson Street near Curtis Street, east of Greenfield Road, together without permission and have not been seen since.

Authorities have not been able to track the ninth-grade students at Mumford Middle School because they do not carry cell phones with them. However, investigators believe they are still in the area due to tips provided by the school counselor, he said. FOX 2.

“If you’ve seen my children, please tell them to come home,” said their father, George Ogden.

‘Tell them that what they are doing here is not right. And be children, be adolescents, while you can be. The world we live in is too insecure to try to grow too fast.

‘If they are not home, they are not safe. In the world we live in today, it is very unsafe. “It’s dangerous and they’re 14 years old and these kids don’t understand the dangers that lie ahead,” George said.

“I would never have imagined that they would leave like this. As a father trying to raise his children alone, it’s heartbreaking.”

Both are described as five feet tall, 130 pounds with sandy brown hair and brown eyes.

Anieca was last seen wearing a beige tank top, shorts and orange Nike ‘Jordan’ shoes. It is unknown what Aniya was wearing.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Detroit District 12 at 313-596-1240 or 911.

Detroit Police Department Capt. Philip Rodriguez said W X Y Z: “Ultimately, we just want to make sure that these young women are safe and that they return to their appropriate residences.”

On March 3, her sister Ashleigh Lett said on Facebook: ‘Please help me find my little sisters Aneica and Aniya Ogden, 14. They left the house around 12:30 this afternoon in the River Rouge/downriver area! It could possibly be on the west side of Detroit.

Their father was able to find them and bring them home before they disappeared again.

According to the Detroit Police Department’s Weekly Missing Report, as of March 29, there are 86 people missing, including fugitives.
