The new Snapchat glasses ultimately look like real sunglasses

Two new designs for Snapchat Spectacles have just landed, and these two new looks are actually sunglasses that you would normally wear.

These are still part of the Snapchat Spectacles 2 range, but the two new designs are called Veronica and Nico and come with a black frame and polarized lenses so you can wear them comfortably in the sun.

The technology is all the same onboard, so you can film videos of 10 seconds and place them on your Snapchat. A software update earlier in the year means that you can now take your recordings and share them on other social media sites.

The glasses are water resistant, so it does not matter if the weather changes and they are rained and they sync with your Android or iPhone when it is nearby.

A new look

Unlike most other designs available for Snapchat Spectacles 2, they do not feature the accented color around the lens, so you may find that some people change it for a real pair of glasses. That said, if you look closer, you can see the cameras in the upper corners.

You can now buy the new looks from the official Spectacles website, where the two new designs are more expensive than the original designs for $ 199.99 or £ 199.99 (about AU $ 360). Normally Snapchat Spectacles 2 costs $ 149.99 or £ 149.99.

According to TechCrunch, the second gen of Spectacles recorded 40% more than the original glasses, so it may be that we will soon see more updates and support for the platform.
