Nikki Webster’s ex-husband has found love again after a highly publicized marriage breakup that led to him being charged with domestic violence crimes.

Matthew McMah’s marriage to the Sydney Olympics opening ceremony bride ended in bitterness after the pair were involved in a roadside brawl in 2019.

Now the 44-year-old Qantas flight attendant has moved on and found love with mother-of-two Veronica Attard, who he has been quietly dating since 2022.

The loving couple bought a home together in Sydney’s west last year and shared the moment on social media as they posed together in front of the “sold” sign.

McMah’s relationship joy comes after her famous ex made a sad admission to Woman’s Day magazine that she is still looking for love after the failure of her marriage.

The 37-year-old singer said she was so busy raising her two children that finding the right man had taken a backseat.

“I hope that one day the right person will come along and everything will come true,” she says. “But I’m very happy to be a mother, it’s my favourite job in the world.”

But Nikki admitted she didn’t even know where to start looking for love.

“What are you doing? Where are you going? Online dating is a whole new world,” she admitted.

Their marriage came to a dramatic end in 2019 when the couple had a heated argument.

McMah pulled up in his car outside Nikki’s Leichhardt dance studio in Sydney’s inner west and Webster opened the car door and leaned in.

McMah then “began to slowly roll the car forward a short distance and stopped,” according to a police statement of facts.

He demanded that she close the door and when she did not, he stepped outside and grabbed her forearms “causing her immediate pain and causing her to fall to the ground.”

Webster then ran to the studio and called the police.

After McMah was arrested, he told officers that he “pulled Webster’s arm out of his car and she fell out after he let go.”

He was found guilty of common assault and domestic violence and fined $800.
