The mystery of Prince Harry’s spare hair: A photo of the Duke of Sussex for a mental health start-up shows him with thick, dark locks – days after they appeared much finer and lighter during a polo match in Singapore
The Duke of Sussex said when he joined US mental health tech start-up BetterUp in 2021 that he intended to “help create impact in people’s lives”.
Well, it certainly seems to be making an impact on his bald stubble.
A new photo has been posted on her profile page on the company’s website, which gives her thick, dark locks.
As seen in photographs of Prince Harry at his polo match in Singapore last week, his hair generally looks much thinner and lighter.
Hair is a thorny issue for the California-based son of King Charles, 38, who is ‘impact director’ for BetterUp.

In one of his many jibes at his older brother in his memoir, Spare, he described Prince William’s hair loss as “alarming” and “more advanced than mine” despite their two-year age gap.
Maybe the heir to the throne should join BetterUp – or should it be BetterHair?
It comes after a top British cosmetic surgeon claimed in 2021 that Prince Harry’s hair loss had accelerated since moving to the US with Meghan and predicted he would be virtually bald by then. 50 years old.
But Dr Asim Shahmalak of the Crown Clinic in Manchester says the Duke of Sussex is going bald at a slower rate than Prince William and is ten years behind his older brother when it comes to hair loss.
Dr Shahmalak said that at 36, Harry is at the same stage of hair loss as William at 26.

He added: “Harry’s baldness gene isn’t as strong but he still loses his hair fast.” Currently, most of Harry’s hair loss is around the crown.
“He has a growing bald spot on his crown and you can also see his hair is thinning forward as well.
“Without treatment, the acceleration we have seen over the past 15 months will only increase over the next year. Harry may never be as bald as his brother William. William was more affected than any of the royals.
Meanwhile, in 2021, a celebrity hairstylist claimed Harry had shown ‘Noticeably’ thinner hair on a New York outing, after ‘smart touch-up skills’ gave her a ‘full body’ of locks to match Meghan Markle’s on their recent Time 100 cover.
