Shocking video has captured the moment an out-of-control plane nearly hit an unsuspecting golfer when it crashed onto a California green.
The plane slid into a golf course at the Haggin Oaks golf resort in Sacramento around 1:20 p.m. Sunday. ABC 10 reported.
The footage shows an unsuspecting golfer preparing to practice on the green when a single-engine Piper PA28 hurtles towards the 10th hole and the man jumps for his life.
The bystander was uninjured and the unidentified pilot, who suffered a complete mechanical failure at about 400 feet altitude, walked away with only a cut on his hand.
“It was a miracle of all miracles that no one was hurt in a normally very busy area with people gathering and golf carts,” Ken Morton Jr., vice president of Haggin Oaks, told the outlet.

“I knew I wasn’t going to be able to get back to the airport. This was the safest place I could find,” said Sacramento Fire Department spokesman Capt. Justin Sylvia. KCRA.
The small aircraft’s engine shut off and the plane slid approximately 50 to 70 yards before impacting the building on the property.

Sylvia said there was a gas leak on the pavement and a wheel of the plane came off.
“Our group heard the loud bang, but we had no idea it was a plane,” golfer Tim Cowan told KCRA.
“We thought maybe some young man was driving too fast and hit another vehicle in the parking lot.”

The golf course said on Facebook: “Earlier today, an unexpected plane crash occurred on our golf course. Fortunately, no one was injured and damage to the facility is minor.”
‘Due to cleaning measures and safety precautions, our restaurant and sporting goods store will be closed for the remainder of the day. However, the golf shop and driving range will remain open as per our regular schedule.’
Sylvia said she told the pilot “he needs to go buy a lottery ticket today, because it’s an incredible landing for a crash landing, especially since no one was hurt.”
