Wyoming has become the most pro-Donald Trump state in the US after the elections.

Wyoming has become the most pro-Donald Trump state in the US after the election and voters previously ousted RINO Congresswoman Liz Cheney.

The president-elect won a staggering 72.3 percent of the vote in the Cowboy State as of 9:50 a.m. Thursday.

He is projected to win according to the Associated Press, which reports that 99 percent of the count has been returned.

Support surpassed high levels seen even in 2020, when Trump received nearly 70 percent of the vote.

With at least 192,576 votes, the Republican won all but one of Wyoming’s 23 counties. Teton County, which includes the top-tier city of Jackson, voted overwhelmingly for Kamala Harris.

Trump also managed to push Albany County back from when Joe Biden won in 2020.

Wyoming came into the spotlight this election cycle after former Republican Rep. Cheney spoke out against Trump.

The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney said she was “proudly” voting for Harris at a campaign rally in Ripon, Wisconsin, earlier this year.

He cited the Jan. 6 riots as the reason for his decision.

“Donald Trump was willing to sacrifice our Capitol, allow law enforcement officers to be beaten and brutalized in his name, and violate the law and the Constitution to seize power,” Cheney said.

“I don’t care if you’re a Democrat, Republican or Independent, that’s depravity and we should never become desensitized to it.”

Cheney, who served from 2017 to 2023, was ousted during the Republican primary in August 2022.

He lost to the pro-Trump candidate with the second-worst margin of defeat for a House incumbent in the last 60 years.

The result was a harsh rebuke of former congresswoman Liz Cheney, who turned her back on her party to endorse Kamala Harris.

But she was condemned by conservatives and progressives alike, who criticized the lawmaker as an unprincipled opportunist whose endorsement would only discourage voters.

An embarrassed Cheney took to X to post about the election result shortly after it was published.

‘Our nation’s democratic system worked last night and we have a new president-elect. “All Americans are obligated, whether we like the outcome or not, to accept the results of our elections,” he said.

While this year’s election was not his best performance in percentage of his margin of victory, it was in terms of the number of votes received compared to Harris.

The results mark the third consecutive time that Wyoming has emerged as the most Trump-supporting state in the United States.

West Virginia and North Dakota, where 99 percent of the votes have been counted, ranked second and third in terms of support for Trump with 70.2 percent and 67.5 percent of the votes respectively.

Shortly after the victory, Wyoming Republican Senator John Barrasso addressed X promising to “deliver” to his constituents.

“President Trump’s victory today is a mandate from the American people to get this country back on track,” he said.

‘His agenda passes through the United States Senate, led by Republicans. Working together, we will achieve results for the American people.”

‘Wyoming loves President Trump!’ Hageman wrote in response to news of the victory. Both she and Barrasso managed to secure re-election.

Wyoming Democratic Party Chairman Joe Barbuto said Cowboy State Diary his party was not surprised by the results.

“We know what it means to face an uphill battle, to be outnumbered and to keep going no matter the odds,” Barbuto said.
