Tourists who wish to spend their holidays in Croatia can make their trip even more charming by booking a stay in a small house shaped like a pumpkin, a mushroom or a miniature castle.
The three Airbnb properties, listed by hosts Helena and Florijan, are located in the fairytale village of Krka, next to the Krka National Park, with one described as “the most beautiful place” and the other as “very special”.
A night inside the unique houses includes free internet, air conditioning, heating, parking, barbecues and use of the surrounding garden and orchard.

This fairytale-like little castle has plenty of outdoor space with table and chairs, bench, fire pit, outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Tourist Marcus from Berlin described the property as “very special.”
Each room also includes a TV, hairdryer, kettle, stove, cleaning products, hot water, mosquito nets, board games, indoor fireplace, freezer and washing machine.
The tiny house, designed to resemble a small castle, also has plenty of outdoor space, where guests will find a table and chairs, a bench, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, a barbecue and sun loungers.
Tourist Marcus from Berlin commented: “Helena and Florijan created a very nice and cozy place. We felt very comfortable. The outdoor kitchen and the wonderful houses make the place very special. Highly recommended!”
While Ollie from the UK added: “It’s a lovely place to stay. The kids loved the fun cabin and play park!”

It offers its guests a bedroom with capacity for four people, a kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom with a shower.
There is also a TV, iron and hairdryer inside, but the listing says there is no hot water or washing machine in the pumpkin-shaped accommodation.

One visitor to the magical pumpkin described it as “very cozy and comfortable.” It has one bedroom that can sleep four people.

‘For such a small space it had everything and even with two people we rarely felt like we were tripping over each other.’

‘The house was very cozy and comfortable. We came for a drink, enjoyed an afternoon of reading in the big bed and slept wonderfully (very quiet and secluded). The next morning we went to Krka National Park.’

In a review, Charlotte from the UK commented: “Probably the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. It was even better than the photos.”
There is also a bathroom and kitchen, TV, coffee maker, crockery and cutlery, hot water, toiletries, iron, cot or travel cot, baby bath, high chair, window safety bars and toys and books for children.
It has views of the garden and vineyard for guests to enjoy, as well as a private patio.

‘It was even better than the photos, the kids loved it and we had a beautiful view of the stars at night.
‘Florijan was a great host, very friendly and helpful, providing us with lots of little details and personal touches and taking the time to show us around, something he is clearly passionate about.
‘The location is ideal for visiting the Krka National Park, and there are some lovely old villages and beaches not far away.’
