The moment an Amazon delivery man is caught on doorbell camera throwing a package to his owner's cat

This is the shocking moment an Amazon delivery man threw a package at a cat.

In the doorbell footage, the delivery man can be seen standing outside a house in Bradford with a package in his hand. He then appears to throw the package at a cat that appeared to be perched on a rubbish bin.

The cat runs away as the courier picks up the package from the floor and proceeds to hide it behind the dumpster before leaving the address.

Jodie Dobson, who owns the house and her nine-year-old cat Grayson, was horrified when she discovered the video.

The 30-year-old said: “He thought it was a good idea to throw my package at the cat. He obviously didn’t know he was being filmed.”

Amazon is now investigating the incident.

A mother of three said that when she complained to Amazon they were “not very helpful”.

She said: ‘They didn’t seem to want to take it seriously. I was on hold for 20 minutes and then they hung up the phone.

“They then told us they would make sure their drivers didn’t drop packages again.”

Fortunately, Grayson the cat escaped this terrifying ordeal unscathed.

Ms Dobson said: “Grayson is doing well, he is a very nervous and shy cat. He usually avoids people whenever he can.”

An Amazon spokesperson said: ‘We have very high standards for our delivery service providers.

‘And expect every package to be handled with care.

‘We are investigating this.’
