Incredible video and photos show the moment when a jaguar and a small crocodile fight death after the frightening cat jumps 10 feet out of the air through a tree.

Wildlife photographer Kevin Dooley, 58, watched the jaguar land on the small crocodile, known as a caiman, before wrestling it to death.

Kevin said the cat was waiting for about an hour, without making a sound, before bouncing on the unsuspecting reptile as it swam in the river

After waiting for an hour, Kevin said the cat, & # 39; that remained as still as anything & # 39 ;, and then jumped on the caiman as it started swimming towards a tree.

He said: & # 39; It was great to see. The jaguar jumped into the water and struggled with the caiman and finally killed him.

& # 39; He then dragged it into the tree, as if it had been supper.

& # 39; It left me speechless, the jaguar never broke its gaze from the caiman in the river, I couldn't believe it all happened to me. & # 39;

The photographer added: & # 39; They both struggled for about 10 minutes, but the jaguar killed it.

& # 39; I was in a boat on the river when this happened, we stopped it to see everything happen.
