But on March 8, Melissa began to feel unwell early in the morning, assuming she was having severe menstrual cramps.

The cramps got worse and closer together, becoming so painful that Melissa asked Donnie to call the emergency number and tell the dispatcher she passed a kidney stone.

The new parents took their surprise baby to the hospital, where doctors confirmed he was healthy.
