The public has finally been introduced for the first time The miraclesthe latest project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Marvel Studios film premiered in Las Vegas on Tuesday, while press screenings also took place in New York and Los Angeles. Now the first reactions are coming in on social media, ahead of the formal reviews, which took place on Wednesday morning.

It is a follow-up to the one from 2019 Captain Marvel, which raised $1.128 billion worldwide. But The miracles opens in a very different landscape and doesn’t have nearly as lofty box office expectations.

The film had no actors available to promote the film during the SAG-AFTRA strike Captain Marvel benefited from a direct connection Avengers: Infinite War And Avengers: Endgame, which helped build the excitement. Marvel shifted gears in marketing the film on Monday, releasing a last-minute trailer that reminded audiences of Captain Marvel’s ties to the Avengers and featured archival footage of Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evan and Josh Brolin .

Despite everyone on screen doing their best, #DeWonderen it feels like it lost its battle in the editing room.

Scenes don’t flow into each other and you don’t know when the first or second act will start. There are some really great scenes, but studio interference may be to blame.

The Marvels is a great MCU entry.

Carol, Kamala and Monica are really great, especially together in very creative action scenes! The first 25 minutes were really great, and towards the end, exciting MCU stuff.
