Body Shaming Taylor Swift Amid Her Eating Disorder
In 2020, Nikki publicly apologized to Taylor Swift after she was seen shaming the singer in her Netflix documentary, Miss Americana.
In the film, the comedian was heard making a joke about Taylor being “too skinny” and that a person would have to “have a thigh gap to hang out” with the pop star.
He later took to Instagram where he apologized for causing “any pain.”
“I really have no need to post this other than to apologize to someone who truly means SO MUCH to me,” Nikki wrote.
“I’ve only gotten a couple of death threats from die-hard Swift fans, which, like me, I totally understand… I just hope this somehow gets through to you so you know I’m sorry for the pain I caused you and I’d love to be his friend one day (when he starts modeling) and tell him how much his music has influenced my life and comedy.
‘In fact, his song The Man is the inspiration for my new hour of material and I perform the song in multiple iterations during my current tour.
“I love you Tay, and I can’t wait to see 99.97 percent of your new documentary.”
Surprisingly, Taylor responded to the apology and even sent him a “big hug.”
Miss Americana documented Taylor’s struggle with eating disorders, as well as the media’s effect on her mental health.
“Wow,” said the award-winning country star.
‘I appreciate this very much and one of the main themes of the document is that we have the ability to change our opinions over time, grow and learn about ourselves.
‘I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve struggled with some of the same things I’ve struggled with.
‘I send you a huge hug.’
He scolded a Taylor Swift fan at an Eras Tour concert
Most recently, Nikki received fierce backlash after ranting meanly about a woman she had seen at an Eras concert.
Speaking on an episode of The Nikki Glaser Podcast last month, she branded the concert-goer a ‘gutter punk bitch’ who gave off ‘a nervous squirrel with rage-like demeanor’.
He went on to claim that the woman had “snuck” into the friends and family seating section at the stadium, but couldn’t fit, so she sat in a different row.
“His energy makes me sick,” Nikki stated in the episode.

The woman then addressed Nikki’s comments and accused her of ‘bullying’
“I know I’m being so mean because she’s probably a struggling person… but I really wanted to put a security person on her, but I wanted to be a better person and just let her enjoy her night.”
He added: “This girl probably doesn’t have much to live for.”
Following the episode, Lindsay Perrin identified herself as the woman Nikki was referring to and addressed the allegations in a TikTok video.
In her video, Lindsay explained that Rolling Stone had hired her to capture the content of Taylor’s performance and criticized Nikki for “bullying” her.
“I’m one of the kindest, friendliest, most inclusive people you’ll ever meet – if you know me, you’ll know that’s true,” she said.
“I am full of joy and excitement and literally love the life I live.”
Lindsay added: “I can’t believe the Golden Globes hired this woman to host. I mean, America needs to stop putting bullies on pedestals.
TikTok users were quick to offer their apologies after Lindsay’s video, with many shocked by Nikki’s mean girl behavior.
One said: ‘I’m so sorry this happened to you without any provocation.’ “This is so hard for no reason.”
“This is so sad,” wrote another. ‘Very sorry! I don’t understand how or why people are so bad.
He made scathing comments about Gisele Bündchen during Tom Brady’s roast
Nikki expressed her regret after attacking Tom Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bündchen during the Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix.
In the special, which aired in May 2024, he made many jokes about the NFL star and his ex-wife, whom he divorced in 2022.
“Tom Brady, five-time Super Bowl MVP, with the most wins and touchdowns in his career, you have seven rings… well, eight now that Gisele gave you yours back,” he said.
Nikki also joked about her ‘diet program’ and told the audience, ‘he’s very strict, but if you follow it exactly like he does, you can lose your family too.’
Nikki expressed her regret for making fun of Tom Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bundchen at the Roast of Tom Brady.
After the star-studded roast, Tom admitted that he “wouldn’t do that again because of how it affected” his family, to which Nikki said that “maybe he didn’t consider his family’s reaction and how it would affect them.”
He also expressed disbelief that Tom was unaware of what he was getting into, noting that he could have prepared himself by watching footage from previous sitcoms.
However, Nikki emphasized that she would apologize to Gisele if they ever crossed paths.
“If I ever met her, I would definitely apologize for hurting her feelings if she was really upset about it,” he told People.
He demanded his own parents apologize to Julia Roberts
Nikki demanded that her parents apologize for their misinterpretation of Julia Roberts’ interaction with Travis Kelce at a Taylor Swift show in Dublin, Ireland.
“Uh oh,” the comedian captioned an Instagram Story screenshot of a news story about her parents’ comments, writing, “My parents will be apologizing soon.”
Controversy arose when Nikki’s mom, Julie, and dad, Edward, reacted to images of the Steel Magnolias actress, 56, affectionately touching the chest of Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis, while talking to him.
“It’s so disgusting,” Julie said, adding that it was “strange” that Julia was “poking” the athlete’s chest.
Edward agreed and said Travis was “trying to get away” from the Hollywood star.
Nikki made her parents apologize for their misinterpretation of Julia Roberts’ interaction with Travis Kelce at a Taylor concert.
‘She’s trying to French kiss him right now!’ Julie continued and added: ‘Just kidding. She would do it.
Julie later admitted that she “should have said something other than the word disgusting” in an apology video via Nikki’s Instagram Story.
“It’s not a nice word… So I apologize right now for using the word, but I think it was really strange.”
Julie went on to say that she “meant to just say weird, not (gross) and weird.” Edward added that it was “too late” to retract his comments.
