Bondi Sands owner Shaun Wilson has spent $8 million to live next door to Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky.
The businessman, who co-founded the fake tan brand with Blair James, has invested some of his generous earnings into the purchase of a sprawling mansion in Byron Bay.
Shaun and his fiancée Tess Shanahan have snapped up a six-bedroom house in what has been dubbed the ‘Golden Grid’ of Byron Bay, according to real estate.com.
The couple will have some very famous neighbors as Hollywood star Chris and his wife Elsa, as well as his brother Liam Hemsworth, own multimillion-dollar properties in the area.
Shaun’s new luxury property, which he purchased for $8.26 million, sits on a 1,010-square-metre elevated block and features a modern exterior with a columned porch.

The mansion features an open-plan living and dining room complete with a stylish kitchen island and breakfast bar, as well as two spacious sitting rooms.
The kitchen features luxurious amenities including a pantry, integrated Liebherr refrigerator and Ilve oven, while there is also a pizza oven and barbecue outside.
The outdoor dining area also features a sunken fire pit area, perfect for entertaining, and overlooks the saltwater pool and spa area.
In addition to the main six-bedroom property, there is also a separate studio at the bottom of the garden with direct access to the pool.
The luxury property, which they bought for a whopping $8.26 million, sits on a 1,010 square meter elevated block and features a stylish open-plan living area.
The outdoor dining area also features a pizza oven and barbecue, as well as a sunken fire pit area, perfect for entertaining.
The renovated six-bedroom property (one of the bedrooms is pictured) dates back to the 1880s and is situated on what has been called the ‘Golden Grid’ of Byron Bay.
The house has won acclaim for its design, with builder Ian Heanes previously scooping the HIA award for Best North Coast Renovation for the mansion.

AFL star Garry Wilson’s son Shaun has snapped up the property in the A-list hotspot months after the proposal and his huge Bondi Sands payday.
Last year, Shaun and his business partner Blair sold their Bondi Sands brand to Japanese skincare giant Kao Corporation in a massive partnership deal.
They made a small fortune from their globally popular self-tanning brand in the $450 million deal, more than a decade after first launching the company in 2012.
At the time, Shaun said the huge partnership deal with Kao would be transformative for the brand, which is already sold in 32 countries.
It comes after Shaun and business partner Blair James (pictured) sold their Bondi Sands tanning brand to skincare giant Kao Corporation in a $450 million partnership deal last year.
Since launching in 2012 in Melbourne, Bondi Sands has become the country’s most iconic tanning product, recording growth of around 55 per cent year on year.
“We’ve really only just scratched the surface in terms of our growth opportunities and myself and the leadership team are fully committed to that, and it’s exciting to be partnering with Kao,” he told The Australian Financial Review.

Japanese company Kao is a manufacturer and marketer of several global beauty brands, including John Frieda, Jergens, Curél and Bioré.
Following the deal, Shaun’s co-founder Blair and his wife Melanie (both pictured) also put their heritage home in Melbourne up for sale for $7.7 million amid their plans to move overseas.
