Although Disney has not yet renewed The Mandalorian for a fourth season, executive producer Rick Famuyiwa has stated that a fourth season is definitely coming.
During his speech deadlne Famuyiwa explained that it is difficult to determine when the new season of The Mandalorian will be shown on Disney+, but that the fourth season will definitely come at the end.
Famuyiwa stated:
I know “Show creator” Jon Favreau has written the scripts for the new season, and he’s excited to continue telling more stories in this world. As for when or how we get it, we’ll see that later.
Famoywa revealed that Jon Favreau began writing the script for the fourth season of The Mandalorian in May 2022, that is, before showing the episodes of the third season, and John was able to finish it last February.
