In the shed he grabbed a six-inch (2.3-inch) metal nail and rammed it into his sleep.

When the first nail didn't kill him, Oleksandr grabbed a second and rammed it in his forehead, local media reported.

It is clear that he became unconscious at this point and was lying on the floor in the shed by his family an hour later.
