The attacker was quickly arrested by the Good Samaritans outside of 229 Chrystie Street. They kept the man on the ground until the police arrived.
Kuipers said that while the crowd held the attacker, Alec Baldwin, who lives in the area, got out of his car to investigate the commotion.
& # 39; He was very concerned about what was going on & # 39 ;, Kuipers said.
& # 39; He becomes visibly angry and angry and tells him that you have ruined the man, you go to jail, & # 39; Kuipers remembered.
& # 39; He even stroked Meeka and was very nice and kind to everyone and tried to do his best to help with the situation. & # 39;
When the police arrived, they identified the suspect as Jerrod Ford, 50. But unbelievable, although Kuipers says Ford has admitted to kicking Meeka, Ford was not arrested or charged, he said.
