The man got out and fled – he was found shortly afterwards in a nearby street where he collapsed.
SA Ambulance paramedics tried to breathe new life into the man, but could not.
None of the other drivers or pedestrians were injured.
Nathan Grant, 35, walked past Marie Clark Drive when he saw the 4WD hit the red sedan.
& # 39; I thought it was just anger on the road back then & # 39 ;, he said Sunday Mail.
Grant then explained that he saw the man with the knife escaping and running away, so he called his friend Kyle Todd, 27, and they tried to find the man.
& # 39; We found him lying on the floor a few blocks away with a knife in his armpit and blood everywhere, & # 39; he said.
The street is currently closed because the police are searching the scene for directions and interviewing residents in the area.
