Gogglebox fans are left in the lurch when the Malone family’s dog, Dave, wreaks havoc in their living room – some beg the energetic Rottweiler for his own show
Gogglebox viewers couldn’t contain their laughter during Friday night’s episode as chaos descended on the popular Malone family during the show.
The trio, made up of father Tom Snr, mother Julie and son Shaun, watched Sara Pascoe’s Last Woman on Earth during the show.
But things changed when Tom started whistling, prompting their rottweiler Dave to join in the action as he jumped into the frame.
As he jumped onto the seat, the hilarious moment saw Dave knock Tom completely off his seat – leaving the truck driver on his back with his legs in the air.
Fans quickly took to social media after the moment to share their love for the dog and Dave, with many even begging him for a spin-off show.

When Dave jumped onto the chair with Tom, the latter was knocked off the side of the sofa and landed in the corner of the room next door.
He struggled to get back up as the pup stood his ground, Julie and Shaun watching, laughing.
As he tried to drag him away, Tom was heard to say, ‘K****ead Dave. Fit! Dave, get off me! Get off me!’
Some viewers even had to watch the moment twice, with one tweeting, “We rewinded to rewatched.”
‘I really laughed at this, made my day!!!’ said another.
As a third echoed, “Dave the dog is a legend, had me in stitches tonight.”
Others called for more Dave content, with one sharing, “Dave needs his own show.”
The Malones joined Gogglebox in 2014, and the trio have also appeared alongside the couple’s other son, Tom Jr. and daughter Vanessa, and her children.

Their son Tom Jr. was previously on the show with the family, before leaving in February last year.
Since coming to the public eye through the Channel 4 show, Tom has become a household name and is often seen at star-studded events.
He’s part of dance troupe B-Boy Soul Mavericks, has also appeared on E4’s The Real Dirty Dancing, and has recently been rumored to be in a relationship with social media personality Saffron Barker.
