The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was released a few days ago, and got a very poor rating from players. Unfortunately, the developer Daedalic Entertainment shares most of the players’ frustration, and the studio is aware of the game’s shortcomings and has sent an official apology.
Via the game’s official Twitter page, Daedalic regretted the disappointing experience with the game and promised fixes to come. The developer is deeply aware that the game did not live up to the expectations it set for itself or its players, and requests players to accept this “sincere apology.”
According to critics’ opinions, the game is sorely lacking in a lot of things besides it’s not fun, as many say. The PC version of the game currently has a rating of 41 out of 100 on Metacritic and mostly negative reviews on the Steam store, and in fact we don’t know how far the developer can continue.
