Big W fans are in a frenzy after spotting authentic Levi’s jeans on shelves – and they’re marked down to just $79.
The iconic American-made jeans have been popular in Australia for decades, but this is the first time they have been offered at a budget retailer.
The jeans are priced at $79 for men and $99 for women, and include the brand’s best-selling exclusive original 501 jeans.
An Australian woman was so shocked to see Levi’s on the shelf that she took to TikTok to share the news.
—Umm, sorry, am I late for the party or is this new? —he said.
“When did Big W start selling Levi’s? For $99, they even have the 501s that normally sell for over $150,” he said.
Others were equally surprised by the news.
“What! I’m late too,” said a woman.
Levi’s women’s 501s are $99 at Big W and come in light and dark blue denim.
“The 501s for $99 are crazy,” another woman said.
“OMG I was in Big W today and didn’t even look at the clothes section,” said a third.
An Australian woman was upset to miss out on the deal, after shelling out $159.99 for her Levi’s jeans on the official Australian Levi’s website.
Fans of the old-school brand can choose between light blue, dark blue and black denim, available in women’s sizes 26-31.
Levi’s jeans come in both classic straight leg and skinny leg styles.
Some people were not impressed with the price and thought that $99 for a pair of jeans in the current financial climate was too much.
“I think it’s still a bit pricey for my taste,” one person said.
Others argued that Levi’s has changed over the years.

“Levi’s have gone to junk quality, I’m not surprised,” said one woman.
This is not the first time that Big W has surprised its fans by offering high-end brands.
People were quick to share their favorites from the budget retailer’s designer brand fashion.
“They also have Adidas clothing,” said one woman.
“Girl, Big W online had Gucci bags recently,” said another.
Others had also seen Nike, Puma, Birkenstock and Under Armour brands on sale at Big W online.
“The Big W is where brands go to disappear,” one man joked.
Big W told FEMAIL the range is available for a limited time in-store and online.
