New Release: The Last Skeptik featured in his new single and music video “Trouble”
Directed by Rihanna’s Fenty campaign video director Sean Butcher, the violent music video features murder and betrayal and the final scene destroys a vintage Jaguar.
Single “Trouble” is a marching ode to the aggression and hunger that keeps us alive throughout the struggles we face, with Takura’s eerie vocals and Kojey Radical’s ethereal fire creating something truly magical.
“This Is Where It Gets Good” is the honest and very cinematic solo project presented by producer The Last Skeptik. Navigating a dark, twisted journey through survival in London, grappling with mental health issues and coming out on the other side, it’s all here on this soundtrack to a yet-to-be-released movie.
This is electronic music at its height and passion, with undeniable inspiration from classical recordings by Unkle and the Cinematic Orchestra, with Skeptik’s hip-hop genesis roots.

Featured Guest: Musician Koji Radical features on the track

Going Deep: The single ‘The Problem’ is a marching ode to the aggression and hunger that keeps us alive throughout the struggles we face.
Featuring guest appearances from Kojey Radical, frontman grime Trim, Chase and Status collaborator Takura, upcoming pop star Matt Wills and many more, the talented singers narrate this beautifully produced and swallow-whole album.
Opening with a haunting death showcasing Bjork-esque vocals from Caragh Campbell, the maniacal title signals a new beginning, peppered with excitement, fully lived-in and unforgettable as a remembrance of the darkness that came before it.
Striking vocalist Matt Wills laces four songs on the album with his trademark charm, with J Dilla’s thick drums and the muted keys of Keep It Simple being a highlight.

Final Scene: A vintage Jaguar is destroyed in the junkyard
The album is interspersed with recordings from world tours, from a rooftop in Jodhpur, India, to a beach in Colombia and a train in Japan.
Hustle and bustle daily background so there is limited silence between songs. It’s all about taking this transformative and sometimes turbulent journey with Skeptik. It was released on its own, thanks for trying to imprint it, this is a completely standalone release.
