The Killers paused their concert at The 02 in London on Thursday so fans could watch England beat the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semi-final.

The American rockers, made up of Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Ronnie Vannucci Jr. and Mark Stoermer, were in the British capital as part of their “Rebel Diamonds” tour to celebrate 20 years of success.

But the band clearly knew what the game meant to their UK fans, so they paused the show so their fans could watch the end of the match live in the stadium.

When England were declared the winners, The 02 erupted into a chorus of cheers and confetti exploded from the stage.

A MailOnline reporter filmed the touching clip as a guest of Virgin Media O2.

Substitute Ollie Watkins fired a stunning shot into the bottom left corner seconds from time to send Gareth Southgate’s men into Sunday’s final against Spain in Berlin.

The striker had come on for captain Harry Kane, who had earlier equalised for England with a first-half penalty, cancelling out Xavi Simons’ wonder goal after just seven minutes.

England’s star-studded squad were supported by an army of WAGs and celebrities including Adele and Ed Sheeran as they reached their first ever Euros final on foreign soil.

Southgate’s side will now look to take a step beyond Euro 2020, when they lost to Italy in the final at Wembley.

England fans danced for joy and chanted “all the way, all the way” after Watkins’ late goal put the Three Lions into the final.

Earlier this year, The Killers announced an eight-show residency in their hometown of Las Vegas to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Hot Fuss.

The residency will run from August 14 to 30, with tickets available from January 27.
