Spanish club Barcelona may miss the efforts of its Danish defender Andreas Christensen during the last Clasico match of the current season, after suffering a calf injury.
Christensen was injured during his participation with the Danish national team in the match against Finland last Thursday in the European Nations Cup qualifiers (Euro 2024).
Christensen left the stadium after only 18 minutes, and will miss his country during its confrontation with its Kazakh host on Saturday.
Barcelona did not specify the duration of the absence of its international Danish defender, but according to press reports, his absence may extend for a month.
Christensen may miss about six matches for Barcelona, including the El Clasico match against Real Madrid on the fifth of next April, in the second leg of the Golden Square of the King’s Cup of Spain.
