Although the idea of a household organization may seem boring and dreary to some, a smart Australian woman has turned the task into a thriving business.
Mother of two Deanna Foster had always wanted to rearrange her house, but only when she started making homemade Christmas gifts for her sons two years ago did she realize that she could turn her passion into profit.
Mrs. Foster, 37, invested in a vinyl cutter and started making custom pantry labels under the name Nice little designs – a company that has since generated revenues of more than $ 1 million.
In addition to custom vinyl labels, Pretty Little Designs now has storage bins for pantries
& # 39; I just had my second baby and really hoped it would be some extra money for our family – but the company shot faster than I ever thought, & # 39; Mrs. Foster said News.com.au.
Mrs. Foster said she & # 39; very little sleep & # 39; had for the first year after the launch Nice little designs, but her hard work has clearly paid off.
The company now has seven employees and two separate employees and snaps of the labels are a regular image on Facebook and Instagram organization pages throughout Australia.
Pretty Little Designs has also expanded beyond custom labels with a collection of push-top pantry containers that are now available.
Pretty Little Designs' beautifully crafted Instagram account has a following of 78,400 and Ms. Foster has worked with Australian lifestyle influencers, including Queen Iryna Federico – also known as Great Beginnings – to promote her brand.
But despite her considerable success, Mrs. Foster said that she has struggled with a number of copycat products coming onto the market.
& # 39; We have stolen our content daily, & # 39; she said, adding that there have been so many cases of blatant copying of the company, she has been forced to hire a legal team.
Mrs Foster's ingenious idea has been copied repeatedly, a reality that she increasingly has to face as her business grows in popularity

& # 39; People think they can just buy a craft machine and do what we do, but they don't realize that a lot is happening behind the scenes.
& # 39; It is really daunting because there is a lot of work involved in the costs of professional photographers and things like that, & # 39; she complained.
Mrs Foster said it is always great to inspire others to make their own products, as long as the concept is not simply stolen.
