A Florida man jailed before his trial for child sex crimes allegedly tried to hire his fellow prisoner, a neo-Nazi, to murder his young victim and his mother, father, sister and uncle.

Billy Warren Pierce Jr., 44, who will answer sexual assault charges against a nine-year-old girl, is accused of offering the inmate $ 9,000 to carry out the coup.

The would-be assassin, a member of the Aryan Brotherhood, reported on Pierce to officials at the Pasco County jail on August 22, TampaBay.com reported.

He was arrested on Friday after officers gathered evidence to support the man's claims.

When asked about the alleged plot, Pierce initially denied it. But when he was told he was arrested for soliciting a murder, he is said to have replied: "But I have not paid him any money yet."

The other inmate said Pierce was a friend of the victim's father and had visited the house, according to a report of the arrest.

Pierce told him he could enter through the normally unlocked door, or even break a gas line in the back of the house and divert it through a window to poison those inside.

The sheriff's deputies seized a contract signed by Pierce. "Basically it goes through the details about the members that should be killed.

"Mr. Pierce signed for the amount he's going to pay the inmate," said Detective James Hicks.

A conversation between Pierce and the inmate discussing the plan was also captured on an audio recording device.
