A policewoman left horrific cuts on her face after a mad man reportedly punched and kneaded her in the head while trying to arrest him.
The senior police officer and a colleague attempted to detain the man on a street in Halekulani on the Central Coast after reporting that he was shouting loudly, threatening locals, and attempting to enter their gardens at 7:00 on Tuesday morning.
When the officers spoke to the man, he reportedly became aggressive and hit the 47-year-old woman in the head several times.

He was restrained before reportedly returning to the High Agent.
The police officers used OC spray, but it did not stop him, and the man reportedly kept hitting and kneeling the officer in the head before being detained and arrested.
The senior agent suffered facial cuts and was treated on-site before being taken to Wyong Hospital for further treatment.
The 28-year-old man was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with two counts of entering enclosed land without prescribed grounds with no legal excuse, stalking / intimidating plan fear of physical injury, etc. (Personal), assault officer cause actual bodily injury in performance of duty, resist or interfere with the police officer in the performance of his duty, and intimidate the police officer into performing the service without actual bodily injury.
He was bailed today to appear in Wyong Local Court.
