A 16-year-old cashier was traumatized after an armed robber wielded a hammer at an IGA supermarket in Queensland.

Police said the hooded man brazenly entered the Mount Warren Park business in the eastern area east of Logan City, south of Brisbane, shortly after 8 pm Tuesday.

The CCTV images published by the Queensland police show the man quietly entering the store, bypassing the customers, and walking the counter with the cashier.

After unloading the box, the hooded man is seen running towards another man, who is believed to be the manager of the store, while waving the hammer in the air.
