The This Past Weekend podcaster and comedian, 44, was sitting next to fellow celebrity Logan Paul, 29, who shared a clip of the mishap on his X/Twitter account.
In a clip Paul shared, titled MAKE THE CHAIRS BIG AGAIN @TheoVon, the Covington, Louisiana-born artist’s chair buckled beneath him, while Trump could be heard speaking in the background.
People close to him asked Von if he was okay after the shocking incident, as Paul said he predicted someone’s chair would fail sooner.
An insider joked that Von had been sitting in “one of Kamala’s chairs,” a reference to former Vice President Kamala Harris, who opposed Trump in the presidential election.
Von, who did not appear injured in the incident, sat back down in a chair next to Logan Paul and his brother, Jake Paul.

Von acknowledged the accident on X/Twitter on Monday, writing, “I had the opportunity to attend the presidential inauguration today and I can’t believe I was able to be there.”
