A 34-year-old man drowned in a southwestern Oklahoma lake after jumping into the water to save a girl.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say that the body of Zachary Tryon, of Chickasha, was recovered at 8.18 am Monday from Lake Chickasha, about 40 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.
According to the patrol, Tryon was on a boat with two other men around 5.20 pm when they saw a girl struggling in the nearby water.
