The Hero Dubai Desert Classic will return for its 36th edition from 16-19 January next year.
Rory McIlroy was crowned the winner at this year’s event, ending the weekend one stroke clear of Ryder Cup teammate Adrian Meronk to secure his fourth title at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai.
The prestigious tournament, which is also a Rolex Series event on the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai series, will bring together an array of the world’s top stars, who will compete for a prize pool of £7 million (US$9 million).
Spectators can enjoy daily entertainment throughout the weekend, whilst sitting back and watching golf in the sunshine.
During the tournament there will be live music, a children’s area and a wide variety of excellent food and drinks.

Over the years, this tournament has also produced some memorable moments.
In fact, it was the scene of McIlroy’s first professional victory in 2009.
Attendees will have free admission to the tournament, with daily entertainment, including live music, throughout the event.

Thomas Bjorn also produced an epic round to defeat 15-time major champion Tiger Woods in 2001 at the Emirates Course.
The tournament, which will once again offer free general admission tickets to spectators, is a key event in helping to boost the popularity of golf in the Middle East.
