Volition Studios has announced that the first major expansion for Saints Row will be released on May 9 under the name The Heist and The Hazardous, along with a free update that adds Sunshine Springs to the game.
First revealed in March as part of Volition’s content map for Saints Row, the expansion, which will be part of the game’s Expansion Pass, will include new campaign missions, vehicles, weapons, and cosmetic items.
When obnoxious movie star Chris Hardy double-crosses the Boss on a successful assassination hit, the Saints take sweet revenge.

Sunshine Springs will be the first free zones to be added to Saints Row, and the update will also come with Selfie Mode, along with improvements to the game’s combat.
It is noteworthy that the next expansion, which bears the name Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus, will be released in July 2023 with a new single-player mode, and the third expansion will be available in August, and it does not have an official name until now.
