Amazon Prime Day is here (and it officially lasts two days). We’re here to highlight the best deals among the thousands on offer at the mega-retailer’s store, especially the products we’ve tested and recommend. Well, if you’re in the market for a new phone, you’re in luck. One of the best Prime Day deals right now is on two of Google’s Pixel smartphones: the Pixel 7A and Pixel foldThese are exceptional deals and the lowest prices we’ve seen on these Android phones. We’ve also included some other Pixel deals below, including the first price reduction on the Pixel 8A.

The Google Pixel 7A (8/10, WIRED Recommends) was our favorite Android phone of 2023. It’s since been superseded by a successor, the Pixel 8A, but the 7A maintains its excellent value for money. Getting it for $249 is an absolute steal.$229 at Best Buy—We’ve never seen it sell for less. Buying last year’s tech is a very smart way to save money, and the Pixel 7A still lives up to its peers. At this price, it’s one of the best smartphones you’ll find for under $300. It has great performance, good cameras, a bright OLED display, and several more years of software support. Don’t forget all the useful smart software features Google includes, all of which we’ve detailed in our Which Pixel Should You Buy guide.

Our only criticism is the battery life, which can last a full day with average use, but not much more. At this price, it may not matter because it’s really hard to get a better phone for that money. Invest your savings in a good battery.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there’s the Google Pixel Fold (8/10, WIRED recommends). Surprisingly, it’s not on sale at Amazon, but is The company’s first foldable device is undoubtedly fun (albeit pricey), but this deal brings it down to the lowest price we’ve ever recorded. That’s likely because Google is expected to unveil a successor next month, but why pay nearly $2,000 when you can get last year’s model for hundreds less?

The outer display works like a regular smartphone, albeit wider and shorter than you’re used to. If you need more space, the device opens like a book and there you have it: a 7.6-inch AMOLED display ready for all your multitasking or split-screen needs. Be sure to check out our list of the best apps for foldable phones, as well as our Google Pixel buying guide for more details.
