Things blew up after TikTok user Tilly Washer recommended people visit the center after going there with her partner to celebrate their anniversary.

Her video, featuring dozens of retrievers frolicking in the grass, has gone viral and has received more than 4 million views on the video-based social media platform.

The video, which Tilly called ‘the best day ever’, shows the dogs running and playing in the field. They seem very receptive to hugs and petting.

Envious dog lovers said they would never leave the field if they got there, and the company has said on their website that they are now facing “ an exceptional amount of questions ” since reopening to the public on April 12.

The dog-friendly center opened a decade ago and was founded by Nicolas Grant St-James, who wanted to invite people to “join our incredible group of goldies for some much-needed dog hugs.”

The website adds that the dogs are “ impeccably trained and endlessly affectionate, ” perfect for dog lovers who don’t have their own pets.

A basic two-hour session costs adults £ 60, seniors £ 50, and costs £ 30 for children, but is free for children under the age of two.
