ABC has confirmed that a Golden Bachelor spinoff is in the works.
The Golden Bachelorette will give a woman, 60 and older, the chance to find love, following Gerry Turner’s, 72, successful turn as the lead.
The news came Saturday at ABC’s Winter Television Critics Association press tour, according to People.
The new show will premiere in the fall and more information about the spin-off will follow later.
According VarietyLast September’s Golden Bachelor debut yielded the largest multi-platform audience for the franchise since 2020.

The Golden Bachelorette will give a woman aged 60 or older the chance to find love, following 72-year-old Gerry Turner’s successful turn as the lead.
The show was watched by 43.4 million viewers after 35 days of viewing on linear and streaming platforms.
People reported that it is also the No. 1 show in new unscripted series this season among adults 18-49 (0.84 rating), according to ABC.
Additionally, Golden Bachelor was ABC’s #1 unscripted series premiere on Hulu.
Host Jesse Palmer said MY! News Last fall I was hoping to get the chance to see another senior in her search for love.
“I really hope that’s the case,” he told the outlet.
The former NFL star added: “Obviously, I can’t speak for the executives or anyone else.” I’m sure everyone is waiting to see how this goes first.
“But I know there are thousands of women across America who deserve it.”
After meeting 22 women last season, Turner married Theresa Nista in Southern California in a televised ceremony.

150 guests attended the ceremony, including eliminated Golden Bachelor contestants Ellen Goltzer, Natascha Hardee, Anna Zalk, Faith Martin, April Kirkwood, Joan Vassos, Leslie Fhima and Susan Noles (who officiated).
