The goddaughter of princess Diana was praised by viewers after she showed her first check today at This Morning.
Domenica Lawson, who has Down syndrome, appeared on the show to talk about her work at the Pavilion Gardens Café, in Brighton, where she got a job last month.
Speaking on presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Domenica, 24, said she likes meeting customers and plans to spend her wages on makeup and drinks with her sister.
She was accompanied at the show by her mother Rose Mockton, a close friend of the deceased princess and a campaigner for the right of young people with disabilities to talk about their charity, Team Domenica.

Team Domenica is based in Brighton and has a training center, a training café and an employment office. It helps give people with disabilities the opportunity to train for the world of work through a series of employment programs.
Miss Mockton said: “We made it three years ago [Team Domenica] and it's about getting people to work with learning difficulties.
& # 39; The national statistic for people with intellectual disabilities was 5.6 percent and we are now 72 percent after three years.
& # 39; We have a training café and an educational program and an employment agency that works with 30 companies in Brighton. & # 39;

Domenica participated in the supported internship program of the charity and completed an internship in the café.
But bosses were so impressed that they offered Domenica a paid position twice a week.
The 24-year-old was the image of pride when she stopped today for her pay check for the ITV cameras.
Viewers were touched by the story and recorded Twitter to praise Domenica.

Miss Mockton, who is married to journalist Dominic Lawson, explained that her daughter had not bothered because doctors said there was a chance that she could never walk or talk.
