A little girl has captured the hearts of thousands after pretending to love her mother’s cooking – looking like she was about to retch.

Annie Wilkins recorded it Twitter last week amid the coronavirus pandemic to post a legacy video of her then four-year-old daughter Piper about to sway after a bite of her dinner.

“My daughter pretended to like my spaghetti #spaghettidryheaves,” the mother shot Piper’s adorable acting.

The clip starts with Piper taking a bite of her pasta. When Annie asks how things are going, Piper says, “All right!” – just before she starts to retch.

“Looks like you’re having a good time,” the mother jokes.

“I had to come visit you to tell you that this is one of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen in my life,” one person wrote. “I’ve watched it a hundred times and laughed every time. She is so polite too! ‘

“What I got out of this video is that my kids will never love me as much as they love you,” another quipped.

After the three-year-old video went viral, Annie said In The Know that she was initially surprised by Piper’s reaction.

“I had made spaghetti, as I had done before, without anyone hating it. It’s actually a dinner all my kids will eat! she remembered.

“We were all eating and I watch my daughter gag with every bite she takes.”

Annie admitted that she started filming the moment because she couldn’t stop laughing at Piper’s adorable facial expressions, noting that her daughter didn’t complain once about what she ate, despite her obvious displeasure.

“I told her not to finish her dinner if she didn’t like it,” the mother added. “She just looked up at me and said,” Oh, good. “Then I gave her a big popsicle. ‘
