Sophie Cunningham takes a drink

WNBA player Sophie Cunningham created a hilarious moment at Saturday night’s WNBA All-Star Game while sipping a margarita while sitting courtside.

The Phoenix Mercury point guard was on hand at her home stadium to watch teammates Britney Griner, Kahleah Copper and Diana Taurasi don the Team USA jersey.

And although Cunningham did not participate in the game, she entertained the crowd by quickly sipping her margarita during a dead ball when the camera focused on her.

The 27-year-old had to hold back her laughter while still gulping down her drink, as she appeared on the big screen during the funny moment.

And fellow WNBA player Crystal Dangerfield, who she was sitting next to, humorously wiped Cunningham’s face after she finished her drink.

The clip has over 243,000 views and over 17,000 likes since it was posted last night.

Cunningham, a former Missouri college player, has turned heads with some of her pregame outfits this season.

She went viral last month when she posted a series of before-and-after photos of herself arriving at the Footprint Center, along with photos of herself on the court.

On that occasion, he posed in the tunnel wearing an oversized Arizona Coyotes jersey, without pants, along with Celine sunglasses.

On Saturday, she opted for a strapless black top and blue jeans as she enjoyed the game with Dangerfield and also Mercury associate coach Kristi Tolliver.

The duo’s team has had an up-and-down first half of the season, as the Mercury currently have a 13-12 record and sit sixth out of 12 teams.

The WNBA All-Stars defeated Team USA on Saturday, 117-109.
