The French bulldog is stolen at gunpoint in Florida just a month after Lady Gaga’s pets were dognapped
A French bulldog has been stolen at gunpoint just a month after two of Lady Gaga’s pets of the same breed were dognapped and her walker shot in Hollywood.
Police are hunting bulldog Bugsy after he was taken away at his owner’s gunshot Thursday at 9 p.m. in the Hiawassee neighborhood of Orange County, Florida.
The shooter ordered the dog’s owner to give up the pet or he would shoot him, police say.
He then picked up the dog and jumped into a silver sedan driven by a woman, and the couple drove off.
‘It has been really difficult. They really tore this family apart with that, ”said Bugsy’s owner, Johnny Matos WFTV
‘We are currently struggling because we don’t want to give up hope. But the longer it takes, it carries with you. ‘
Bugsy was taken at the owner’s gun last Thursday night and is still missing

French bulldogs are a popular breed and are increasingly targeted by thieves.
They sell for anywhere from $ 3,000 – $ 5,000, while pedigree ones can go up to $ 10,000.
Lady Gaga’s dogs were stolen in a brutal robbery on Feb. 24.
Dog walker Ryan Fischer was walking the singer’s three pets one night when two people jumped out of a white car and threatened him.
A fight ensued and Fischer was shot in the chest and collapsed on the left side of the street. He was rushed to hospital but survived.
Two of the dogs, Gustav and Koji, were stolen but were delivered to a police station days later by a woman not believed to be involved in the theft. No arrests have yet been made in the case.
The suspects in the dognapping were in a silver sedan when they took the dog
Lady Gaga walked her dogs, Miss Asia and Koji, in 2016. Koji was one of two dogs allegedly stolen by dognappers at gunpoint in February 2021.
Recently, Fischer revealed on Instagram that he had to be re-admitted to the emergency room after being fired due to a strange feeling in his chest.
He had to remove part of his lung after his lung collapsed several times.
Ryan Fischer was shot trying to protect Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs, who were kidnapped but later returned
Gaga had offered a $ 500,000 “ no questions asked ” reward for the return of her pets.
A $ 1,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to Bugsy’s return.
The pet owners offer even more money for the dog’s safe return: $ 2,500.
Police recently released new photos of the silver sedan, featuring grainy images of the alleged getaway car.
When telling the story FOX 35 NewsMatos described the sheer fear of being threatened and forced to surrender the dog.
“I come down the sidewalk here, as I always do,” Matos said, describing how the incident started.
‘I see the car stop, drop the gentleman off and he is now walking down the street towards me. Immediately your senses go off and you wonder why he’s walking in the middle of the street, not the sidewalk.
A reward of $ 1,000 is offered for information leading to the resolution of the case
He waves a gun, points it at me, and says he’s going to pop me if I don’t give the dog.
“Handed it over and I looked and the look on Bugsy’s face, it was almost like betrayal … as I handed it over,” Matos continued emotionally.
The male suspect has been described as a black man in his early twenties, about six feet tall and at the time of the crime, wearing a white hoodie with a white face mask, blue jeans and white sneakers.
The female driver is described as Hispanic with long straight hair.
