Former far-right congressman Willie Dille, 53, committed suicide after posting a video claiming she had been gang raped by Muslim men.

A Dutch deputy committed suicide hours after posting a video on social networks, alleging that she was raped in a group by a group of Muslim men.

Willie Dille, 53, a member of the anti-immigrant organization Freedom Party, shared the footage on Facebook in which he said he had been attacked by the group as part of an intimidation campaign.

Dille, who served as a deputy from 2010 to 2012 before returning to her seat in the municipality of The Hague, alleged that the violation occurred more than a year ago.

In the harrowing video, Dille said: "I just want the world to know the truth. On March 15, 2017, I was kidnapped, raped and mistreated by a group of Muslims because they wanted to keep their mouths shut in the Hague municipality.

"After they finished, they said: You respect Muhammad, you respect Allah, you respect Arnoud?"

The video was removed shortly after its online publication.

Dille was labeled as racist after sharing a video in February 2016 saying that a nuclear bomb should be launched against Muslims.

His death was confirmed by the local leader of the Freedom Party, Karen Gerbrands, who said that Dille could no longer bear what had happened to her.

The mayor of The Hague, Pauline Krikke, said he was surprised when he learned of Dille's suicide.

A police spokesman told local media Thursday afternoon that Dille had approached the police about the alleged attack, but never filed a formal complaint.

An emergency meeting between Krikke and the police and prosecutors will take place later today.

The politician had four adopted children and was the owner of a care institution for people with mental disabilities and children in temporary adoption.

Mayor Krikke said: "The municipality of The Hague lost a councilor and colleague involved and passionate.

& # 39; Dille defended his cause. He could debate fiercely, but often he also showed his humor. We will miss her very much in the council and in the debate. "
