Actor Michael Shannon has revealed that he will return to the DC Universe as General Zod in The Flash, having previously introduced him during the Man of Steel events. He is.
During his talk to Collider Shannon was asked if it was any different from his first performance as Zod and his return to the character after so many years, not only that, but playing a version of himself with a different timeline, but unfortunately Shannon stated that it wasn’t the greatest experience for him, and some of that It relates to the idea of the multiverse.
As Shannon said:
Yeah, I’m not going to lie. It wasn’t entirely satisfying for me as an actor. These multiverse movies are like someone playing with action figures, like saying this is the person and this is another person, support they fight! And it wasn’t as deep as it honestly felt in Man of Steel. Whether people think this is crazy or not I don’t care, I really felt like Man of Steel actually delivered a very complex story.
Although the role did not live up to his expectations, he had very positive things to say about the actor, Ezra Miller, and said his performance in the film is what viewers should admire most.
Shannon continued:
Honestly it’s all about Ezra Miller, I think he’s a great actor and I can’t wait to see this performance and the big challenge he gives on screen, what Miller has done with this movie is absolutely insane.
Of course, the wait for Michael Shannon and all of us will come to an end, as The Flash will hit all theaters on June 16th around the world.
